Unfazed by the likely backlash of their action, some Peoples
Democratic Party (PDP) youths in Agbaji, the ancestral home of Dr.
Bukola Saraki, last week unveiled a mini billboard announcing the
presence of the PDP in the area.
Led by Mr. Hammed Solagberu, a youth leader in Ajikobi ward of the
Sarakis, the PDP youths insisted that the defection of Mr. Saraki
notwithstanding, the PDP is still relevant and strong in the area.
At the unveiling of the billboard, various youth leaders taunted Mr.
Saraki and the opposition All Progressives Congress (APC), describing
the forthcoming 2015 elections of the APC terminal date in the state.
Agbaji is a sprawling settle in Ajikobi ward of Ilorin west local
government area of Kwara state, comprising of 11 communities. They
are Manjo, Maiye, Opeloyeru, Singinni, Agoro, Kejebu, Adara,
Babasare, Aburo, Imam and Saura.
